The most I’ve bought of any one blend at once was McClellands Red & Black. Mike told me it was the best Virginias he’s ever produced. I smoked a tin and went back and purchased 48 more

    Compromised Tins

Just to be clear. The only tins that I’ve had problems with are the 3.5 oz Rattrays tins, the small Kingfisher rectangular tins(all 7 of mine lost their seals), and Sam Gawith rectangular tins(had about 6 lose their seal out of about 50). Other than that I have never had a problem with any...

    Drying an Entire Tin

Does anyone dry an entire tin at a time so it will be ready to smoke when you open the jar? So drying the whole tin to a preferred humidity then transferring to a jar so you can just stuff and go each time you smoke it? Anyone do this. Some times I get tired of laying out each bowl before a...

    Rotation

I tend to smoke a blend exclusively for awhile without switching it up. A lot of times I’ll smoke through a 2oz. tin of one blend without anything else in between. It helps me pull all the nuances out and really get to know a blend before moving on to the next. Anyone else do this?
