Why does Mcclellands smell like ketchup?
From what I understand, vinegar is used as a mold-inhibitor by McClellands, giving *some of* their blends that characteristic ketchup aroma. To my olfactory senses, it just means I'm in for some quality tobacco.- schmitzbitz

What do YOU miscriates do in those moments of greavous gurgling?
Grandi's = Mario Grandi (pipe mfg.) As others have already said, my method is dry the hell out of your tobacco, and if the gurgles pop up, gently blow the moisture back onto the cherry. If they still persist, I reach for a pipe-cleaner.- schmitzbitz

Sounds like a blend highlighting bright Red Va's is what your looking for. I scratch that itch with Seattle Pipe Club Mississippi River or Scotty's Old Red, both available from Pipes&Cigars. Sorry I didn't link anything, but I'm on my phone and that seems like a lot of work...- schmitzbitz

Do You Have Any Christmas Traditions?
In my family, its tradition that on Christmas Eve, everyone gets to open a single gift (usually earmarked for the day). The catch is that the Dec. 24th gift always contains PJ's for the kids, robes for the adults, and, of course, dainty lingerie for my wife. :D- schmitzbitz

No Smoking in or outside your house
It's only a matter of time before we see this implemented here in B.C., I suspect. Homes are still considered the last bastion of personal freedom, and so far any attempts to turn condo blocks completely non-smoking have been shot down, but lets face it; they already regulate where I can smoke...- schmitzbitz

Bonehead Question
I would guess that a layer of slip would be all it takes...just make sure that it contains enough porcelain to completely seal the walls airway off, yet is thin enough to not just seal the airway. Probably wouldn't hurt to repeat every so often, too, just to be on the safe side. I know this...- schmitzbitz

BJ Longs; I order 5 bundles of regular, 1 bundle each bristled, tapered and fluffy with each months TAD order.
