    Numb and Dry Mouth

    First thing that came to my mind......... Are you on any meds? Some medication makes your mouth dry up. Especially if you are smoking or talking a lot. Also, certain foods will do that.

    I like those rubber stem bits. When smoking I keep the pipe in my mouth and while I don't chew or bite down hard, I do keep a firm hold on it with my teeth. I use them on all my pipes. They just feel better on my teeth than a naked stem. They also keep my pipe from slipping out of my mouth...

    I smoke the same thing when I work as when I don't work. I work from home so take it with a grain of salt but I can't imagine smoking something different just because I'm working.

    Every time I'd see him in anything, I'd say, "That guy was perfectly cast". He picked his roles carefully and didn't work in just anything that came along. He had great management that let him do his thing. He was a true pro actor that was going to be a household name at some point.

    That is something to consider. I have to carry both but found it's worth it. Also, those Old Boy tools are kind of short if you have a pipe with a deep bowl.
