    ISO Cherry wood.

I picked up this turn of the century C.P.F. (Colossus Pipe Factory) Weichsel pipe in its original smoking case. It’s been very lightly smoked and is in great shape. The case is near flawless. It has no stem but they were originally sold separately from the pipes so I’m not too worried about...

    Tuning up a gurgler.

Disclaimer: I am not advocating “opening up” your pipes, if you don’t have a basic understanding of hand tools and precision measuring please do not try and modify your Ivarsons and Dunhills. This is not a cure all for poor smoking habits, glycol soaked aros, high humidity, and improperly broke...

    Hand-cut Perspex for a Medico.

I’ve had this barley smoked sandblasted Medico Dublin kicking around for a while. Thought it was time to put a bit on it. Went with Perspex for this one.

    R. Hovenden & Sons, Compass pipe

I’ve had this pipe (stummel) kicking around for a few a years and finally decided to clean it up and put a stem on it. The pipe was given to me by Rev Rolf at the KC show after Tony Solderman passed away. It could have been Tony’s or it could have Rolf’s he wasn’t sure. According to Who Made...

Interesting Completed eBay Auctions - American Pipes

I thought I'd start this thread because as of late there has been a glut of American pipes bringing outrageous money on eBay. I'll start with this cased KW Meerschaum Author that sold for $405

Hand cut acrylic stem for a His Nibs (Custom-Bilt)

Cut a new stem from acrylic flat stock for this old Custom-Bilt His Nibs I’ve had kicking around for awhile.

    Hand made tamper.

In among the WDC pipe repair kit parts was a 1940’s (wartime production) SM Frank Medico Mountain Briar cigarette holder barrel with the tenon busted off in it. It didn’t look like had been used much if at all. Now I collect WWII era mountain briar/mountain laurel pipes so I was kinda pleased to...

Turn of the century pipe repaired with contemporary parts/tools.

Part 1 I recently acquired a turn of the century WDC retailer repair kit with most of its tools and more than a few of its remaining parts. The really cool part of this kit is the taps. These are not taps you can just go out buy, they don’t make em anymore. The taps are all non standard thread...

Does anyone make food saver compatible mylar bags?

Is anyone using mylar bags with their food saver? Where are you getting them?

New catalin stem for 1911 Meer Cutty (yes another one)

I picked up this Cutty on eBay for a song, the stem was in really bad shape, it was real amber but had been scabbed on with the original silver band and a bunch of nasty old glue. It took a lot of work to ream what was left of the old bone tenon out and get all the glue off.

New Catalin stem for an old meer Cutty.

I picked up this small meerschaum Cutty on the bay for a song because the stem was destroyed despite the pipe only having been smoked once or twice. As far as I can tell the original stem was celluloid, at least I think it was. I have a large quantity of very old Catalin rod stock that I’ve...

    Houze glass Forbes pipe rests

Here you go @ssjones here’s some of my Houze depression glass Forbes Pipe Rests. This is the complete collection, I’ll post some more photos later. The top one is uranium glass.

Exercising the ghost from a gourd calabash.

I elected not to use any solvents in this one for fear of them breaking down the glue holding the cork gasket in and the godet on. So I just filled it with activated carbon. I’ll let it sit for a while like this.

    New bit for a Medico.

I got this medico as an unsmoked stummel without a stem years ago. It’s got a nice blast and heavy walls as well as being a fairly attractive pipe. So I decided to put a bit on it.
