***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

First time trying Mac Baren HH Balkan Blend. I've been on a quest to find a Balkan that can hold a candle to Black House or Blue Mountain. I've found a few good blends, but nothing so far has hit me with the "wow" factor of those blends. Neither has this one unfortunately. It's not a bad smoke...

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

I've been hoping they'll drop again soon. I'd love one in a B42 shape.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

G.L. Pease Horizons in a Peterson Deluxe System Barley 9s. It's still quite new, but this pipe became an instant favorite and I've been smoking it often.

Thank you! I love my high grade Nordings... oh who am I kidding? I love all of my Nordings. Even the humble unstained and unwaxed Signature Freehands. My experience has been the affordable and the expensive all smoke wonderfully, and the high grades just look good while they do it.

Cornell & Diehl Founding Fathers in a Peterson System Spigot 307. First smoke of the day. Drinking coffee and watching Dr.Quinn Medicine Woman.... don't laugh.

    Naphtha and Mouth Health

Light Zippo. 1... 2... 3... 4.... light tobacco.... taste only tobacco.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

Blackpoint is nice. I actually tried that one before the others. There's a good chance I'll order more of that as well as Horizons. Horizons I've found us best when folded and stuffed. You have to be careful with it though because the flakes easily come apart.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

Still on my quest to find a new Balkan/English blend that delivers as well as some favorites no longer in production. I've three new blends so far. G.L. Pease Horizons was wonderful. G.L. Pease Abingdon is nice but it's not getting close to that "wow" factor. Still haven't tried Mac Baren HH...

    Cheese and Tobacco Pairings

Balkan and brie does have a nice ring to it. Edit: Oh that was cheesy... I'm so sorry. Edit: Ha! I did it again.

    Cheese and Tobacco Pairings

I absolutely love cheese. I absolutely love tobacco. But pairing the two sounds horrible to me. Doesn't mean I won't try it anyway though.

Show Us The One Pipe You Will Never Part With

I tried to play. But I really can't choose!

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

Dang I need to add one of those to my Peterson stable! Gorgeous! G. L. Pease Abingdon in an unfinished Savinelli 320.

    Anyone Play Video Games?

Fantastic game. They really need to make more Western games. Even if they do, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be hard to top. It's one of those games you keep going back to play over and over again.

One to Many + Captain Morgan = Tasty Treat

I've used Captain Morgan Black with good results with blending tobaccos.

    PipesAndCigars.Com: Are They Trustworthy?

It's very unfortunate actually. There was a time when P&C was one of the most recommended sites on the forum, right up there alongside Smokingpipes. That should tell you how far they've fallen. I've personally had no major issues with them other than less than stellar packaging procedures. But...

    Loose Lids Sink Blends

I've never had a jar fail me, but I'll be checking them more often now.

    Sweetest English Blend?

I just recently smoked G.L. Pease Horizons for the first time a couple of days ago. With the flakes folded and stuffed, there was a nice sweetness to it. With the flakes rubbed out, I detected much less sweetness, however. But that was only the first and second smokes in two very different...

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

G.L. Pease Abingdon in a Savinelli Marte 320. This will be my first time smoking this blend. 320s are my default for this blend type unless the blend is in flake form. I'm looking forward to experiencing this one.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2025?***

G.L.Pease Horizons again. My first pipe of this was folded and stuffed in a Nording Signature Freehand earlier this evening, and it was a great smoke. This time I've rubbed it out in a Savinelli Noce 320. I usually prefer to fold and stuff flakes, but I've never smoked Balkan/English flakes...
