Is a Peterson System Standard Better Than Other Pipes in its Price Range?
I would go with Savinelli. French pipes are great too but they often use cheap vulcanite in their stems.- LeafErikson

I’ve not noticed changes in the Three Sails that I’ve smoked spanning the years from when Mark owned the company until now. Could it change in the future? Sure. I can’t speak for other blends from D&R but Three Sails is still fantastic. The only other blend I’ve regularly smoked from D&R is Two...- LeafErikson

D&R is definitely still alive and well. Three Sails is a blend of theirs (meant to be a clone of the old cigarettes Three Castles) and it’s my favorite tobacco to roll into a cigarette.- LeafErikson

My New Novel Has Pipe Smoking In It Again
