***What Are You Smoking, March 2025?***

Thanks, man! I couldn’t agree more that bowls with tiny chamber diameters are more limiting with what can be enjoyably smoked in them. In my experience, diameter matters more than depth, as depth really just changes the length of the smoke. When I smoke my pipes with narrow diameters, I have to...

Maiden voyage for an unsmoked Ural meer I picked up. Exclusive in the pipe. I swear despite the fact that this thing was unsmoked, it’s ghosted with what can only be described as a dusty old drawer taste. LOL. Chamber width is tiny too. I’m guessing the chamber is 1.35 x .65.

Show Off Your Meerschaum Pipes Here!

I picked up this unsmoked Ural bent bulldog for $65 shipped. It was so inexpensive it would have been downright irresponsible of me not to purchase it. puffy 😂

Thanks, man. I didn’t know clenching while smiling was an acquired skill. Haha. I don’t notice much difference between clenching while smiling vs not smiling.

Thanks man. Yeah the wife doesn’t mind the beard at all but I guess the ‘stache is when she decides to speak up. My 5 year old daughter chiming in didn’t help. LOL. Maybe when my newborn son is older he’ll stick up for the ‘stache.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2025?***

I haven't been super active on the forum since my wife and I welcomed our second child into the world on Feb. 13, so I missed this! Congratulations to you, Jeff. That was an incredibly heart-warming proposal video. It was beautiful to see how much love and support was emanating from those...

Traveling With Pipes/Tobacco. Has it changed for you?

I take one tobacco pouch with whatever I'm smoking at the time and a meerschaum or a couple of Savinellis. I basically exactly take what you described on your cabin trip that you took 40 years ago. Also, congrats on 40 years of marriage. I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip.

@TheIronMonkey I know you've been asking and now that Jake posted this, I figured I should piggy back on the post. These are indeed the exact same jars that I use for my homemade spermaceti.
