    Wessex Burley Slice is Edgeworth with more oopmh and a more refined flavor in my opinion. Also hard to find, but it's probably my favorite burley flake.

    @anotherbob I'm with you on Cairo's complexity. Not to be that guy, but I find it does very well with 5 years of age or so on it. @cosmicfolklore I really wanted to like Barbary Coast, especially since it's a burley blend, but I was pretty underwhelmed and haven't touched it in years.

    I had a very similar experience. It took finishing a couple of tins to really appreciate Cairo. Embarcadero clicked from the very first puff. Amazing stuff, one of my most smoked blends.

    Why Not Clean your Pipe After every Smoke?

    I don't put too much thought into cleaning my pipes. Like most here I run a pipe cleaner or two through after a smoke. I only deep clean when I start to notice muted flavors, but I've been thinking of just deep cleaning on a set schedule. Maybe every 4 months or so.

    My wife and I drove through Nevada on the way back from our honeymoon. We were floored by how beautiful it is. I think a lot of people just think it's a desert, but it has a variety of nature to experience.

    Samuel Gawith Firedance Flake has a blackberry topping but uses their Best Brown as a base so it's excellent virginia tobacco. It's easily my favorite aromatic. The stuff I have is 3 years old and the topping has faded some, but that suits me fine as I can taste more of the wonderful virginia.
