Old pipe. Could it be a Namiki?

It’s been years ago but I saw other like it with the characters on the bowl and a couple with the characters on the shank. The patent makes them much older than the black lacquer art pieces with the goldfish and cranes that came in the humidor like presentation boxes. Look for a PM from me!

    F1 2025 🏎️

Was it me or was the background sounds of the race louder than the commentary on the ESPN/Sky race coverage? It was very frustrating. I hope and wouldn’t be surprised if the championship comes down to the last lap of the last race. We’ll see, I’ll be watching every minute of every session!

Do pipes need to be “Broken In”?

From my experience many pipes definitely need to be broken in but sometimes the first smoke is the best, cleanest tasting bowl you’ll ever have.

Art Deco Antique Hotel Lobby Ashtray

With the indents in the metal I’d guess it didn’t but it’s a very good looking and handy piece!

I Guess I’m Obsessed With Dunhill Rollagas Lighters Now…

In general lighters are a far more popular collectible than pipes are.

    Used prices of lighters

I understand not everyone can afford the real thing but I wouldn’t feel comfortable with owning anything counterfeit.

Show Off Your Castello Pipes Here!

Thanks but in the world of Castello I’m a blip on the radar. I haven’t added a pipe in the collection in years but there are at least 4 pipes out there in collections that I desperately want. I’m eternally hopeful that they will shake loose sooner than later as I’m (or they’re) not buying green...

Here’s a preview of my contribution to next weeks Collectors Showcase in Vegas. Epoca’s from my non core shape collections. A wide variety of shapes and carving styles. Some are very rare and a couple are magnificent examples.

LoL! Me too! Wow! That is an awesome acquisition. Nice shape on the 65. Not stretched out. Seriously that pipe is worthy of being smoked with white gloves on.

California Unflavored Tobacco Law Registration Deadline Passes- Dunbarton pulls out!

I know and like Steve. I’m a big fan of him and his cigars. He’s a hot head who I’ll bet will turn the outrage into to a sales.

    B&M’s in Tucson Arizona?

Definitely not a destination pipe shop but the Anthony’s on Broadway has the best selection of pipes and tobacco’s in Tucson. I hang out there on occasion.

    Cigar Collection

You can but most of those humidors aren’t reliable. I keep my cigars in a well seasoning coolidor and keep the desktop humidors for display. It might take months to slowly bring them back and they will never be the same but they might be ok if they don’t unravel.

    Cigar Collection

Assuming the cigars are dry rehydrate them very, very slowly in a bag with a Bovida.
