I am not sure what a hobby hive is by quantity? Are you suggesting that hobbyists do not have the capacity to produce the honey for this? If so, you would be wrong. I have kept as many as 40 hives and I am nowhere near commercial. I averaged around 75-90 pounds of honey per hive per season...- aquadoc

US Postal Service Is Horrible
I have never had one issue with the USPS. Wait until it is gone and mailing a letter or package is $50-100. Shit happens with a parcel every now and then but in general, if you think of the volume of packages handled daily, the USPS outperforms most organizations!!! 21+ million packages daily...- aquadoc

It depends. Some grains with no moisture last over 20. The little oxygen left in a mylar bag properly vacuumed is going to be less than in a jar with our standard storage methods. Tobacco ages as the storage container goes anaerobic. Hence the reason that swollen tins are mostly a good sign...- aquadoc
