    Cracks in the outer bowl of an estate pipe

    If that were my pipe, I would clean the inside of the shank with everclear and remove the cake from the bowl, then scrub the stem inside and out. Then I would re-assess the depth of the cracks. They don't look like they go very far, so I would just stabilize it with carpenter's glue. If you want...

    Loved the movie since I was a kid. The book was very good. Still watch the movie every once in a while. I truthfully didn't know he was still alive. Didn't know about the animated series either. El-ahrairah has called him to the warren in the sky.

    I didn't want to say it, but "stable" in ICU after 30 minutes of CPR wasn't at all promising. Loved her from the moment I saw her in the theater in 1977. Strong woman and actress. She will be missed.

    No deal. The finding of my first pipe a year and a half ago was the beginning of a new era in my life. I would not sell it and I have been made a kindly offer considering I got it basically free. My collection is the destination. I care more about the journey.
