What is the ash talking about?
Looks normal to me too. Like others have said, I smoke until I feel the need to stop. I don't smoke "to get my money's worth" which would imply smoking down until there is nothing but fine white ash. There is no right or wrong answer here, if it works for you, go with it.- Inspired Idler

My curiosity lies with the aerobic aging aspect. I thought I've read somewhere that once all of the oxygen is used up by the bacteria, a different aging process begins in the oxygen depleted environment (the name escapes me).
