Tell Ya what.... I have a bottle I bought several years ago, and just use little bits at a time. I think my bottle will last my family about 150 years, so the best thing is getting up with someone that has some.- topd

The Fish Weren't Cooperating...
I was born to fly fish.... but never have actually. One of these days I'll go to north Arkansas and try for the trout... the White River is one of the best, but I have a hard time with doing all that for a three fish limit. Down here in the south, I go all fly rod when the bream and bass go...- topd

New York State Taxes
I live in Arkansas and have no B&M's near... do all my tobacco buying on-line. As of yet I've paid no tax, but I know it's coming! My $10 dollar tins will be $30 bucks as soon as they can.... I hate it!- topd

Hey rothnh.... Not sure which poker you mean. The basket weave was dark and colored already yes... The kinda orange looking poker actually is pressed meerschaum, was white when I bought it in '74, but has colored well against most peoples belief that it would ever happen... I was lucky I... -

It wont hurt to clean the meerschaum with pure alcohol (Everclear or nothing). and don't soak it... Let it set and evaporate for a while after cleaning. Go easy and slow... Don't want to lite it on fire Huh! And welcome to the forum! We love women here.... :)- topd

If it was a Zippo, I'd spin the strike wheel backwards with the tension spring out. Should work on a Nimrod I think. The flint should fall out. You may need to use a sewing needle to coax/guide it out. If it's one of those 'bolt' looking types, it's just a novelty lighter... not really...- topd
