Pipe finish rubs off on new pipe
Not difficult to fix finish in a pipe.Remove wax find the correct color tone with alchol aniline then re-paint the pipe gently with some cotton inside of a piece of tissue (don't use a paint-brush) apply the aniline turning the tissue always in the same direction and pay attention that the new...- pentangle

Alcohol & Salt treatments "Don'ts"
I smoke the same tabacco in the same pipe or at least natural-aromatic-english mix in the same pipe always.Don't think the alchol/salt treatment it's a good thing but simply a metropolitan legend.I clean the bowl with paper every time i smoke and i get pipes reamed.
