How far do you have to drive for tobacco?
Same boat, same state. I have to drive from Taylorsville to Hickory to get it. Haven't had time to look around a lot yet. I have found a couple small smoke shops that carry some OTC blends and a IGA that has a good selection of them also. But both are over 20 miles away. IGA is closer to 40...- revs

Experimenting with New Camera
sorry to jack the thread but, where did you get the pipe rest? That is too cool. Little lounge chair for your pipes. Ok, back on track. I have only been using my phone's camera for pics so I can't help much. I need a new lens for my old Yashica. Found a battery so it works. -

TENS machines are great for back pain. Just set them at the recommended setting and don't try to play Frankenstein and attach the electrodes to your neck. Cause funny facial twitches when turned up to high. Don't ask.- revs

Dremel Tool - Cleaning, Polishing, Repairing, Maintaining?
being a dremel fan myself, there aren't many sanding grits available. Not sure I have found anything higher than 300. They work best for small jobs and detail work. Polishing a pipe would be a bit of a challenge due to the lack of a very low speed on most models. Rustication and minor...- revs

Smokers candles?
I used to make scented candles with my wife. We made one for a customer especially for cigar smoke. His wife said it worked quite well. It was specifically aimed at eliminating the smell of cigar/cigarette/pipe smoke.- revs

I have a small hardwood MM miniature that the dog grabbed off the table before I could grab it. Never smoked, brand new. She decided to chew the stem. And she chews harder than I do. :-) Is there a place to get pre-drilled acrylic stem material that I can shape/fit myself? I think I may...- revs

Recommended Baccy Jar Capacities ....
They will be fine Lass. The wire bail lids you are referring to will work wonders. Heat them up in some hot water then dry them out and pack them with baccy before they cool down and shut em tight. When they cool down, the cooling air will create a tighter seal almost like vacuum packing.- revs
