Father Dempsey - topping?
No topping or casing on that one. The tobaccos used in the blend seem to meld rather well to give a smooth, cool smoke with no lack of complexity. I usually prefer more stout Lat blends, however It's one of the few milder English I like. IMHO, Fr. D also seems to perform a little differently...- badbriar

Yeah - if it was a nice value pipe, I'd work with it and keep it. A high end pipe is entirely another matter. I would do a return and get something else. The Hoos said it right! Why pay $450.00 to $700.00 per box for not so good Cubans When you could smoke Opus X for less? Yep - those prices are real. Have a look at some cigar online sites that sell real cubans. Nicaraguans, Dominicans, etc are excellent cigars. BTW - anyone that dislikes...- badbriar

What types of blends are best for relights.
I find that many Scottish & English blends, particularly stout ones, do very well with DGT! Cigars - not so much! :rolleyes:- badbriar
