New Captain Black blends
....and I tried it once. In short, I'm not impressed with the first bowl. I'm used to PS Balkan Supreme and this Captain Black Dark Sea pales in comparison. The latakia is there but it's faint and gets pushed more into the background as it burns down. I found the end smoke to be somewhat harsh...- tuold

Uh oh,The FDA has noticed Pipe and Cigar Smokers
I just finished listening to an FDA official on the radio explaining the need these new regulations. It seems their anti-smoking efforts have been so successful that increasing numbers of young people are turning to pipe smoking which is increasing the use of tobacco products in general.- tuold

Show for us beginners
I have watched beginning pipe smokers and I have noticed every time they just draw way too deeply trying to produced a lot of smoke. The trick is to sip more than "suck". Keeping the ember at just the right burn is the key to enjoying the taste of the tobacco. That's true for aromatics as well...- tuold
