Is it okay to smoke a full bowl of a new pipe ?
I always break my pipes in with a full bowl. If after several smokes there is not much cake in the bottom third I will them smoke a full bowl very loosely packed so that I do indeed burn tobacco all the way to the bottom. I have discovered over the years that I like my tobacco dried to the point of almost being crispy. I discovered this while drying my tobacco one day sitting in the back yard on a summer morning.
