Second pipe
Savinelli make some fine pipes. I am partial to billiards and rustication, so for MY sensibilities you should get a straight billiard rusticated Savinelli. Of course, I will not be the one smoking it so my input is of only minor validity.- jndyer

There is chemistry involved with how nicotine is absorbed into our blood streams; hence, why cigarette manufactures are purported to use some of the additive that they do. I would avoid smoking a lot of blends with latakia in the same pipe as virginia due to the issue with ghosting. Knowing When to Quit a Bowl
I also use to try to smoke it all to ash. Now days, however, I typically dump it out if, like DidiMauw, I have to relight more than once. I am getting enough experience that, I more often that not, can tell it is time to dump by the way the pipe lights on a relight.- jndyer
