    Hey from NJ

Welcome from Central Oregon. I know that being new to this hobby/vice can be intimidating, but I can assure you, that if you keep at it you will be rewarded with some great smokes and a world of flavors that you can only begin to imagine. I will add, you should be ready for your pocket book...

    Plastic in Capstan

I know some of the older blends have begun to make substitutions in the leaf; however, this might be going a bit too far. I wonder if the flavor will mellow with age.

    In Defense of Codger Blends

I like Half and Half in small doses. I also get along well with SWRA. I use to really like Carter Hall, and then one day it started to just taste horrible, I could not even stomach the smell of the pouch. New Pipe Cabinet

Nice job repurposing a piece of furniture. You took it from a boring linen storage piece, to a beautiful tobacco/pipe stand.

    Hello from Mexico

I would classify Half&Half as an aromatic pipe tobacco. Funny how this hobby works. For one a pipe tobacco is an aromatic while to another it is more of a straight flavored tobacco.

    Pruning Pipe Collection?

I have been think about doing this. The problem I have is that most of the pipes I want to get rid of are all worth less than $50 and I am not sure if it is worth the hassle of posting and shipping them.

Finding a Balance with VaPer/Straight Virginia Blends

As most, if not all, of us know, there are just some blends that will not work for a particular smoker. I really love the flavor of Viprati; however, this particular blend just cause my mouth to wilt with pain.
