    If this is something that intrigues you, then you should go for it. Every pipe carver had to start with their first pipe. I would recommend a google search for pipe making forums.

    I am glad to see a pipe manufacture make a true St. Pat. day pipe. None of that subjectiveness that would make it hard for a non-pipe smoker to know which holiday the pipe is honoring.

    Thank you for an interesting and well written post. I personally believe it is best to have pipes dedicated to categories of pipe tobacco ie. english, aros, virginia, etc. I typically keep a pipe or two for aromatic blends and then pipes for virginia/vapers.

    I seems that very often new pipe smokers just keep trying to keep a poorly packed bowl burning. You did well by stopping and repacking the pipe.
