It's not really necessary to rotate at all, especially if you smoke dry enough and clean with a pipe cleaner after each smoke. Why don't you just rotate each one for each smoke or one for one day, one the next?
I think my savinelli pipe got abit wet but it's dry already. I'm thinking of using my savinelli pipe tbh

If you use a pipe cleaner, or two, after each smoke, the pipe would dry out fairly quick. If it gurgles and there is a clump of wet tobacco/dottle at the bottom when you're finished, it was too wet. If not, you're fine. If you enjoyed the smoke, you're fine regardless.

Some keep on smoking weeks at a time, but clean the pipe right after each smoke. I only smoke maybe a bowl a day, so each pipes can rest a month or so. It all depends on what you feel like doing. But keeping the pipe clean seems to be a good idea.

if you don't rotate the pipe can get nasty which is a fixable issue in most cases. Cleaning it is by far more important. If I smoke the same pipe over and over it will smoke a little less sweet but not anything dramatic and taste a little more acrid.

As long as it delivers a good smoking experience, absolutely. The only rule is you are enjoying the smoke so you have to make your own rules based on your experience. If/When you start experiencing less than enjoyable smoking experiences, then start looking for the problem. Otherwise, smoke and enjoy yourself. Don't start looking for a solution where a problem doesn't really exist.

You have been offered some good advice. I will add, it due time you are going to develop a system that works well for you. Early on it is tempting to stress about different aspects of pipe smoking; just remember, most of us have been through this and in due time we all figure out what works best. Try to just focus on enjoying each bowl, and let us know what questions you have.

I personally like to give my pipes at least a week to rest between smoking days. But I’m also smoking many bowls in each pipe; if you’re just having a bowl or two a day, a week’s rest really isn’t necessary. Honestly, as others have said, this isn’t really a problem you need to be worrying about.

But if you *are* concerned about stressing a pipe with oversmoking (which I’m not sure is even a thing), why not pick up several inexpensive corncob pipes and add them to your rotation?
