Bent Pipes - Tip of the Day
Fingernail polish! Why didn't I think of that? One of my first 2 pipes (I can't remember which pipe exactly...either a GBD or a BC) has a loose stem. I tried a buffing some carnauba (a bit heavily) on the stem, which tightened it up some...but it is still a bit too loose to me. Time to dig... -

I already don't remember what blend I smoked in it! As I recall...first smoke resulted in "fine gray ash" with "only 1 light"! LOL! I'm not sure what Jonesing is doing wrong! Seriously though, I'm pretty certain that I smoked a burley/cavendish blend that usually smokes pretty cool, and maybe... -

Carnuba Wax inside stem
Definitely nothing to be worried about. Pure carnauba wax is basically inert. It is sometimes used as a coating on dental floss, candy, and pharmaceutical caplets/tablets. When mixed with other chemicals to create car waxes and such, it may be a different story.... FWIW...here is a link to...- bytor
