What Does Latakia Taste Like
On one end (20-50%): like burning incense. On the other end (<10%): earthy, musty, floral. In the middle (10-20%): like a campfire, sometimes leathery.- Jahman7

Enjoying a night cap after a hard day of work. SPC Bourbon Barrel Aged Plumb Pudding on top of some blend I made and don't remember what is in it... but I tasted some perique and latakia in it and it was delicious! Very cool smoke.- Jahman7

I don't think I've ever quite felt the way some of you have described...lol. Sure, I've been hit by the nic, but it just sooths the moment a bit and relaxes the muscles. I've maybe come close to feeling naeseous a couple of times as I get older, but it's pretty rare.- Jahman7

Pipes With a Restrictive Draw
What you described is what I consider "sipping", where a subtle amount of smoke enters the mouth with each draw instead of plumes of smoke caused by a suckling action. I'm not nearly as experienced... But I have had the privilege of smoking both types of pipes as you describe it. I actually prefer the restricted draw for sipping smoke. It seems to concentrate the flavors as it enters my mouth and it eliminates the need for plumes of smoke to thoroughly enjoy...- Jahman7

New Pipe/Tobacco Pouch.
There is a zipper pocket with an open pocket right behind it. Has anyone had this zipper pocket come lose on the top side of the pocket? The stitching on mine seems to have completely come lose and now it's just two open pockets with or without the zipper.- Jahman7

New Pipe/Tobacco Pouch.
I've got one too, but I don't use the tobacco pouch since it seems to dry out the tobacco to a dust quicker than I can smoke it - even with a boveda pack. It seems too porous. Any tips on how to use this accessory effectively?- Jahman7
