Noob Questions About Whole Leaf Storage

I've done my own whole Leaf blending for a couple of years now. If I don't plan on some special blending technique (just straight blending then aging), then I will process them, case them (if needed), then jar them with a high rH boveda pack in an airtight seal. After I blend, then I lower the...

    Shipping Tobacco

Agreed. If they don't know what they are saying according to their own rules, maybe there is poor training and their supervisor needs to be informed. Anyway, regardless, not worth the fight here or there. This has certainly gotten odd.

    Shipping Tobacco

Sounds like a conspiracy theory... In the end, I'll step up to the occasion of defending our freedom to live lives that do no harm to ourselves and others. However, I'll choose to do this through the system - not in spite of it. Too many confuse accountability as an encroachment of freedoms...

    Cobb Repair

I don't have much experience with MM products, but based on the last two I bought, they no longer use glue... lol. As for my other MM products (one or two other pipes), I have not fallen in love with them enough to know what they used to put it together - or if they will soon fall apart.

Isn't it for that reason that they will potentially start x-raying packages? Untrustworthy patrons taking advantage of the rules/system? Again, if it's illegal, I won't do it, period.

    Shipping Tobacco

Well. When the USPS worker found out it was tobacco, I was informed I could not ship it. So, I assumed from that that there are regulations... If not, I'll ship. If there are, I will not ship illegally. Simple as that. I would, however, like to find a way to ship legally. With all that is...

    Cobb Repair

This may not completely qualify as a "repair" job, but more of a "secure it" job... I've got a loose shank on both this pipe and another MM hardwood pipe. Any suggested "repairs" (besides just shoving it in harder) to keep the shank secured to the bowl? My preference is to NOT use chemical...

    Shipping Tobacco

I live in Texas, and I have found that there are regulations on shipping tobacco that prevent me from shipping to my brother. I would like to find out how to legally ship tobacco. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to make that happen?

    Howdy!

In case it is not clear... I'm a Texan. I've been smoking various forms of tobacco infrequently for 20 years. In the last two years I have picked up pipe smoking as a frequent hobby. At first, I tried basic cheaper blends on PipesAndCigars.com such as captain black. Then I moved on to non...
