Shipping Tobacco

I live in Texas, and I have found that there are regulations on shipping tobacco that prevent me from shipping to my brother. I would like to find out how to legally ship tobacco.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to make that happen?

It is not illegal to ship pipe tobacco within the United States using the United States Postal Service.

Contact your shipper of choice. They should be up on the regulations, no matter where you may or may not live.

He lives in Texas, so it'll ship in state lines.

Just ship it. Nobody has to know what is in the box.

No one looks. I wouldnt ship 50 pounds but a box of tobacco...no one looks at what is being shipped. Hell, the silk road made millions before the DEA figured it out. Within the US there is no customs claim as to what is included in the pacakge.

As far as I know, the State of Texas does not prohibit residents from shopping on-line and buying pipe tobacco unlike states like Washington or Massachusetts. So, if the state has no law making it illegal to have tobacco products into the state then there is probably no law or regulation preventing you from shipping it to someone else inside the state.

Individual companies or the USPS may have regulations but I've never been asked what I am shipping by UPS or Fedex.

Online vendors ship tobacco all the time to anyone anywhere in the USA.
What's stopping you? There is no tax, no permit, no nothing!
Just Do It! USPS is the way to go!
