Do I Need a Little Break?
Just my personal experience, but you know how everyone says a healthy rested pipe is “best”? I actually find if I smoke a pipe that has been sitting for many weeks / months it falls flat on that first bowl back, like it needs a wake up to get the oils and juices flowing. HBS in a Rossi. Tonight ‘s pipe contemplation: how to square up the end of a log (about 2” out of square, 22” diameter) which will be burnt in and made into an anvil base. Definitely thinking planing cuts with the chain saw.- MidTNPiper

Once a year or so I get a tin of OJB - Blue, just to remind myself how much I really like HBS; it’s perfect: loads of burley, just the right amount of VAs to keep a sweet...- MidTNPiper
