Does Having a Lot of a Blend Make You Smoke More or Less of It?

No, I have cellared each 2.5 pounds of 2 blends I like and i'm still exploring other blends, these might even go a year untouched before I even open a tin of 1 of them.

    Another New Commission

Really like Jeremiah's pipes! The pipes he ships to Danishpipeshop have a serious pricetag. @mso489 he call's them a Gumnut, it's his signature shape. I think anyone else would call it a Tulip?

What Cigar are You Smoking? - 2022

Great info, I always attributed it to being a bit more spicier taste profile and to age. Maybe the spice and magnesium go hand in hand somehow. When smoking a "mellower" cigar I never get a compact white ash like that.

    What Is Your Standard?

Asthetically pleasing to me, for straight pipes this normally means a bit longer, for a bent I could do a little shorter, I find saddle stems pleasing to look it while they add nothing to smoking it. I tend to stick to traditional shapes and the carver should be able to perform them well. The...

What Cigar are You Smoking? - 2022

Tatuaje, never disappoints, and the ash on the first third was almost solid bright white which I attribute to the age (yellow cello).

    Cheap v.s. expensive VA

My latest order contains a few VA's with also some cheaper options like Hamborger Veermaster which is €100 a kilo less expensive than for example premium offerings like Capstan or HH. For those €100 I should also buy jars as the difference is its in 250 grams bags "bulk".

Will Pipe Smoking Ever be Mainstream Again?

No it will not and it has never been. Not that I'm that old, but I only remember 2 pipe smokers in my almost 38 years. I've been in a crowded place the past weekend (amusement park) and I saw way more people vaping than smoking cigarettes, I think most smokers are or will switch(ed) to smokeless...

Anyone Have Solar on his House?

In my case I can heat and/or cool my house with the power my 10 solar panels make in a year, so it's very doable. My present 330watt panels are allready outdated, my parents bought a house which has 400watt panels. They don't even get a connection to natural gas, even if they want to they can't...

    Wedding Cigar Help.

Personally I would pick 3 different types. A bolder cigar or a maduro, a Connecticut shade wrapped cigar for a mild smoker and a flavored one. And I wouldn't pick anything longer than about 5 inches and a little bit thicker to levitate a construction error a bit more. What I would do is buying a...
