    Working on My Maintenance Equipment

Great start and nice set up. It’s amazing all the things you accumulate after doing a few refurbs. They have 3ft florescence lights at Walmart for $15.

    Picking Up Solid English Seconds

Nice score. That blast... Sometimes it’s fun to search “old wood pipe” on eBay and speed scroll through only looking at shapes instead of names.

    Bing Crosby Coloring Book

Thanks for posting. "Well lil Timmy, how shall we color Bing's pipe today, birdseye or flame grain?" It was common back then to hold a pipe by the stem. Here's a candid pic of my grandfather in 1973. Although he smoked a pipe all day, he would set them down for the family photos.

    Painted pipe?

Acetone will remove the clear coat. It'll have to be waxed and polished afterwards if you want it shiny.

    Need Help Choosing a Pipe

The Peterson 999 is a gorgeous shape. Depending on the model it won't cost an arm and leg either.

    What's Under That Grabow!!!!

I do have a passion for these old Linkman's and Grabow's, but my knowledge and history of the brand pales in comparison to the late great SouthPaw.
