    Broken Pipe Ed James

There is a paypal donation in Ed's name to send a flower arrangement and possibly a plaque in Ed's honor for the Dr Grabow factory. It's in Troy's account on The Grabow forum. He's a longtime member and I have complete trust he will use the funds accordingly. If anyone would like to donate...

    Broken Pipe Ed James

This is truly a sad day. Ed was the cornerstone of DGCF and PM. My first friend in the pipe community, and the man who mentored me as a fledgling pipe restorer. Ed was one of the most genuine and generous guys you'd ever meet. He will be greatly missed.

Show Off Your LHS Pipes Here

Welcome aboard Nick. Great looking Ultrafine. This was a high grade model sporting a solid gold band and a Meer-lined bowl. My Sterncrest's never let me down. Great old burners.

    Comoy's "Royal Guard" Rhodesian (Restoration)

Very cool. Nice work. I believe that briar accent in the stem is a first for me.

    Looking for Dunhill Shell

I have a 79 Dunny shell Zulu if you're interested. Excellent shape, perfect stampings, crisp blast, no repairs.

1917 Dunhill Inner Tube 39 Restoration [pic heavy]

Another top notch save Anthony. Btw if you posted every resto, it still wouldn't be old news. I love seeing your resto blogs. You make it look easy. But I know just how difficult it is to match a stain after rim repairs. There are so many variables involved. With every Tom Dick and Harry...

Not To Offend, But, Are Pipe Smokers Thin Skinned Panty Bunchers?

How dare you. I have reported you to the mods and I will not longer be participating in this forum. Good day sir! P.S. Get off my lawn.

    U.S. Factory Briars Fading Fast

A little off the trail but you can still get vulcanite stems from Grabow. You have to be a preferred forum member of DGCF. They will re-stem any Grabow for $11.

Joe Rogan/Steven Crowder Smoke Pipes On Show

I'm a huge fan of both shows. Crowder has a pipe stand on his desk for his show. Joe Rogan said it was way too much work to smoke a pipe. Steven tried to explain the process of lighting, tamping, etc is part of the relaxing and meditative experience. I thought it was great to see the briar go...

Your Favorite Dirty Sock Flavored Tobacco?

Well I'm not a fan of aromatics. Try some Mixture 79. It tastes like you're smoking a grandmothers purse.

Ivarsson Broken Shank Repair + New Stem (pic heavy)

:worship: What can I say that hasn't been said already. The sky is blue. The sun is hot, and George can fix anything. Amazing.

    Cleaning deep rustication.

Yep, Murphy's and a stiff nylon brush. Just keep it out of the inside. Good looking pipe btw.

    Dr Grabow, Viscount finished project.

Sooo much better. Paint is for walls not briar.

    Weber Experts

Not an expert, but if you like it then it's collectable. I restored a handful of Weber's for other people and they were drop dead gorgeous. I have a sandblasted Weber author that was my grandfathers. If it had a white dot it would pass as a Dunny.
