GBD Virgin Lovat (!) Restoration

My father has been in the hospital all week and today, he headed to a nursing home, so it's been a tough week for everyone. I worked off some nervous energy this morning, and restored this GBD Virgin Lovat (Shape 9457). It didn't take much work, but it felt good to focus on something mechanical for an hour or so.

Prayer sent for your dad, you and your family Al. My dad has been gone for 23 years now, but he still helps me with projects on a regular basis. I got some tools from his toolbox again today for my pipe stem project. He always knows what I need.
The pipe looks good. I like that style.

Fnord, acutally, the round shank, saddle stem is a Lovat, definitely not a Canadian....thanks for the nudge!

I like lovat shape,seems be so practical, but so far I only have canadian models( which is one of my favorite shape)
