    Get Off My Lawn

In no way was I disrespecting anyone on DGCF. The Dr Grabow Collectors Forum is home to many great guys I call friends. I give new technology a chance but I’m just frustrated with Tapatalk. I’m a member of the Instagram pipe community and I really enjoy the set up for that site. #latbombs Until...

    Get Off My Lawn

There’s been many discussions about making a PipesMag app or changing the website itself. I just want to say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I like this forum setup just fine. Great layout and it works just fine. My vote is to leave good enough alone. The DGCF forum switched over to Crappatalk...

GBD R9239 -- One of the Coolest Pipes in the World

This and the 9242 are my favorite shapes from GBD. Nice fix on the woodworking. You may have tried this already. I’ve had pretty good results with stubborn bands by placing them in the freezer overnight

    A Pipes Magazine App?

Works fine for me. Why fix something that’s not broken. I primarily access the forum on my phone with no troubles.

Another Sav 320 Joins the Family

@anthony The new one doesn’t have a KS stamping. So I’m guessing they have a small, medium, large? @Philo I’d like to see that Estella. I love the rustication style of the Estella model. Bonanza, nice work on that refurb!

Another Sav 320 Joins the Family

I bought yet another 320. They smoke so nice and look pretty darn good too. This time, I bought the regular size. All the rest of my 320’s are EX size.

Softy Bits: That’s Right, I Use Them

I finally found a good purpose for softy bits. They’re great for removing stingers and inner tubes without mauling the aluminum.

    Cellaring

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Very informative stuff. In all seriousness, no need to get overly technical about cellaring. No washing, boiling, wax, etc. Just make sure the rim and lid seal are free of tobacco particles. Lid is firmly tightened. Store in a cool dark place.

Over the Years, Have Your Bowls per Day Increased or Decreased?

I’m a very inconsistent smoker. Sometimes I’ll smoke like a chimney for days on end. Other times, I won’t smoke anything for days. I guess on average I smoke about 2 bowls per day.
