    Yep. It’s 13 hours for me and I have family and friends in the Chicago area; so I’ll be spending time with them and playing golf. The new venue in Lincolnshire is great. I’ve been to most of the Chicago since 2003 and am still overwhelmed by the merchandise and comradery.

    I agree the cackling is irritating, but I met JD at the Chicago show last year and he is a gracious and charming guy. Never met Bo, but I’d suspect he’s the same. Ergo I still listen to their podcast and will miss it when it’s gone.

    I’m quite satisfied with my best smokers: Caminetto Moustache grades, Brebbia Linea As, and Rinaldos. Cavicchis and Walt Hettingers on the next lower level. Since this is beer talk, I’d like to try a Jeff Gracik, Todd Johnson, or Brad Pohlman creation.

    Yep. I look for only Caminetto Moustache grade, but that’s because they are more difficult to find. Any older Caminetto is a fine smoke. Same for most of the newer ones.
