    It’s funny that I just came across your comments. I’m smoking right now Skiff from a tin I bought at the glorious Arlington Pipe and Cigar B+M last August, and it does have some bite. Nothing intolerable, and I do like it, but the bite is still noticeable.

    This post is funny. I went to a B&M in northern Virginia today and found the same thing. I was tempted to buy up the whole lot. A great arbitrage move, but could not do it. I settled for two tins of Dunbar and one Dorcchester.

    I’m retired, but still get up at 5:30 each day but Saturday. I have plenty of time to smoke in the morning, but cannot handle any tobacco before noon. Then I’ll have 3-4 bowls the rest of the day.

    As I just replied above, that Calumet was quite expensive, but bought it with trade value. My only beef is the walls of the chamber are thin; ergo, the outside of the bowl gets quite hot.
