Beautiful. One of my favorites. Regarding your post on the Balvenie, there exists a Laphroaig which is also entirely matured in sherry casks. It is quite interesting and complex. Unfortunately the only way to get it is to steal a bottle of it directly from the barrel ?- elessar

All good suggestions. I use wet sanding finishing at 12000grit (going from memory on that). The other methods work also. I haven't tried the lighter but I definitely will in the future. Keep in mind that removing the oxidation will reduce the diameter of the stem. You are removing material...- elessar

Yes, that was on the playlist. I also like the Wierd Al cover although it is recorded in a different key. Since I'm too lazy to retune I just jump on the drums. I still haven't mastered the last drum solo where the drummer just walks around and the drums are still playing lol.- elessar

I also like both. Try Glenfiddich Fire and Cane. It uses a portion of peated Glenfiddich (Yes they apparently make a peated malt) and is aged in rum casks.- elessar

So in my excitement to look at the restoration pictures I neglected to read the 2nd paragraph of your post. I thought what kind of voodoo black magic has he used to get that level of oxidation out without reducing the stem to a pencil shaft!?! Now after reading the 2nd paragraph I am wondering...- elessar

This sounds reasonable. Fuel is even pumped around or used from certain tanks in a specific sequence to maintain balance or trim. Chances are the plane could easily fly with everyone moving around but if the cg shifts the pilot must trim for it which causes extra drag and fuel usage. The...- elessar
