    Sweet New Six String!

Well spotted sir. It's the tube for my Woodcock (come on where else can you type that in context lol?).

    Did somebody say Warlock?

What Do You Think About This?

I love the old marketing spin of these ads. "Contains a rare aromatic tobacco never before used in popular-price blends..." Translation: We've got a boatload of this tobacco that we can't seem to sell at any price so we're mixing it in with this cheap shit. ?

Does My Stem Need a Good Clean?

    Looks great!

What are You Drinking? (April, 2020)

Its quite good but a bit strong, this bottle is 56.1%. Needs a little dash of water to open it up.

What are You Drinking? (April, 2020)

Currently I'm geeking out watching Star Trek TNG and sipping some Glenmorangie.

What are You Drinking? (April, 2020)

Beautiful. One of my favorites. Regarding your post on the Balvenie, there exists a Laphroaig which is also entirely matured in sherry casks. It is quite interesting and complex. Unfortunately the only way to get it is to steal a bottle of it directly from the barrel ?

Does My Stem Need a Good Clean?

Good to know. That helps me choose what stem to try it on.

Lakelands Only Taste Good While At Work...Help!

I've got a gas mask with a fitting for drinking water. If only I had one of those dashboard Kaywoodie' s I would be set. I think it would hook right up!

Does My Stem Need a Good Clean?

All good suggestions. I use wet sanding finishing at 12000grit (going from memory on that). The other methods work also. I haven't tried the lighter but I definitely will in the future. Keep in mind that removing the oxidation will reduce the diameter of the stem. You are removing material...

Keeping It Smokey During C19 Lockdown

There's just something special about Weird Al pretending to be Weezer covering Toto ?

Keeping It Smokey During C19 Lockdown

Yes, that was on the playlist. I also like the Wierd Al cover although it is recorded in a different key. Since I'm too lazy to retune I just jump on the drums. I still haven't mastered the last drum solo where the drummer just walks around and the drums are still playing lol.

The Joys Of Not Being A Latakia Fan

I also like both. Try Glenfiddich Fire and Cane. It uses a portion of peated Glenfiddich (Yes they apparently make a peated malt) and is aged in rum casks.

Keeping It Smokey During C19 Lockdown

I was rocking some Toto on the bass last night. I'll try singing along to see if that helps! :col:

No beard here. My facial hair just grows until it looks terrible and then kind of gives up. Had to shave yesterday as my time locked in the house was starting to show.

    1926 Dunhill Shape #10 (extremely rare) -- Restore & Re-Stem

So in my excitement to look at the restoration pictures I neglected to read the 2nd paragraph of your post. I thought what kind of voodoo black magic has he used to get that level of oxidation out without reducing the stem to a pencil shaft!?! Now after reading the 2nd paragraph I am wondering...

Any Commercial Pilots Here? I Have A Question.

I should add that I am not a commercial pilot, just making observation. My thoughts are worth what you paid for them lol.

Any Commercial Pilots Here? I Have A Question.

This sounds reasonable. Fuel is even pumped around or used from certain tanks in a specific sequence to maintain balance or trim. Chances are the plane could easily fly with everyone moving around but if the cg shifts the pilot must trim for it which causes extra drag and fuel usage. The...

    Old Straight Razor

Probably early 1900's. Needs some attention but looks like it could be brought back to shave condition.
