Beautiful. One of my favorites. Regarding your post on the Balvenie, there exists a Laphroaig which is also entirely matured in sherry casks. It is quite interesting and complex. Unfortunately the only way to get it is to steal a bottle of it directly from the barrel ?

Its quite good but a bit strong, this bottle is 56.1%. Needs a little dash of water to open it up.

I'm enjoying a Dry Branch Brewery Irish Red. "Dry Branch" is what the area around our small farm is called and I brew it myself. My "brewery" consists of several carboys and the small downstairs kitchenette that I commandeered for the task.

That particular one is very nice. It's a 21 year solera. It has a very nice sweetness but not overly so and just a touch of bitterness. For the $33/bottle I pay I haven't found anything better in that range. (Actually I have but I have to order the other for it to be near that price.)

The other is Dos Maderas 5+5 but is closer to $50 locally.

I pick one up every couple of years. Love the shape of the bottle. Keep meaning to build a shop in one, the shape is perfect for it and it will lay on its side.?

My Asda order that I made in early March finally arrived on Sunday so I've been enjoying Lagunitas IPA every night since then, finished off with a Jack Daniel's Legacy Edition tot.

Tonight I've got Wychwood's 'Imperial Ruby Ale' (6.6%) likely followed up with a Woods 100 rum ?
