    Pipe smoked great, For the first bowl I used Maltese Falcon. Everything went smooth, no heat, no tongue bite. pipe smoked cool.

    I'm going for a total knee replacement this month, I'll have plenty of time to figure how to get pictures on the computer. Plus I'll have plenty of time ( 8 to 10 weeks) to smoke my pipes.

    Peterson St Patrick's Day 2023 Pipes at SP?

    I was going to get one. But I only like smooth finish pipe's. After all if i'm not wrong, other than the Irish flag colors it's still a regular Peterson. Not a collector edition, but it will smoke. Besides I'm begining to like army mounts.

    Tapping out ash...

    I tamp it, then just turn the pipe upside down and let the ash fall into an ashtray. Sometimes I empty it first then tamp. I don't tap the pipe to get rid of the ash.Like the other member said it depends on the tobacco.
