    I'm buying the water rinse method but I mostly smoke filtered pipes so removing a stem immediately after a smoke is not an option. For deeper cleaning (every three or four months with 10 pipes in rotation) I'm using alcohol and cotton wool.

    Try some real tobacco, maybe you will like it better. Not saying that all aromatics are bad but burning a natural good quality leaf feels different than cooking a bowl of chemicals from the cheapest pouches available.

    My taste says Pure Virginia is significantly superior to OGS which is actually a "VaPer". There are many better Virginias on the market too but it's your call.

    Any Latakia flake, usually it's MacBaren's HH. Packed tight and protected with a lid it burns fine. I live in a windy environment so I always use a lid when smoking outside, it also serves as a cover to put a pipe in pocket.

    I fill and empty or fill and leave it for a few hours. Sometimes I just light it immediately and if that's not it put a pipe aside for later and pack another one with different tobacco. It's hard to tell when the moisture is perfect. I like very dry anything but Latakia.

    I like hunting and sniping games and sometimes play theHunter Classic and Sniper Elite 2 or 3. If I didn't spend so much money for all the tobacco I would invest it in a new rig to be able to play theHunter Call of the Wild and Sniper Elite 4. Maybe next year.

    No Really, It's Me, Not You (Davidoff)

    I just tried Davidoff Scottish Mixture again after I had put it in the jar about two years ago. It still has the same flat taste with only a hint of tastiness here and there. I'm glad this is the only blend I had purchased from Davidoff. I'm happy for all of you who like it.
