***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

“Just casually stuffing some unreleased Sutliff plug into this work of art, don’t mind me,” It’d be cool to read a review on that plug

PS LBF in le no-name Canadian with lobster beer. Hanging with friends at the B&M. I just burped into my pipe. Gross.

Just finished a bowl C&D Awakened Elder, moving on to PS English Luxury, in a rusticated Brigham, 26s. I don’t think you can beat a ribbon or shag cut in a conical bowl when it comes to effortless smoking. Especially if it contains Latakia.

Finished up the work day earlier. Kicking back with my bony ass on a bucket, smoking some marlin flake in this very old sandblasted no name Canadian with a vulcanite bit, that I’m suddenly noticing has crazy tight grain.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

I have not. I’m quite partial to vulcanite and have trouble finding cobs and meerschaum pipes with vulcanite stems.

Really enjoying this bowl of Ennerdale in a well rested pipe. I gotta expand the rotation some. I’m finding I really enjoy a well rested pipe (especially when seasoned to a particular kind of blend)

Really classy looking pipe. I like the spur.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

It is a deeply personal and nostalgic smell tied to many memories of both being in the woods and being around pipes. I have to wonder if using an extract of the plant would help with the acrid smoke it produces. The plant matter itself has this really intense dry, sort of herbal, woody flavor...

I am suffering through a bowl of C&D crooner. I love lakelands and I love the smell of deertongue, but I can’t stand this vile leaf in my pipe. Trying to smoke deertongue makes me want to lunt my sad little ass off a cliff. Am I doing something wrong?edit: I can’t do it. Switched to Hal o’the Wynd

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

I have a feeling it’s going to be a very long week, but at least today is drawing to a close. I’m quite happy to send it off with some of last year’s Steamworks in my Peterson tavern series prince. Plus a bonus derpy cat that looked up long enough to take a pic with his eyes closed before face...

At Madre’s having some well aged Bayou Morning and sweet tea with moonshine with my step dad on the back porch after cooking the family a dish for dinner that comes from where my mom raised me, we had low country boil. The past few times I have come over, I’ve brought a couple pipes and a few...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

I’m drinking iced Ahmad earl gray out of a gas station cup because I went to public school and smoking marlin flake in the Grabow. Just finished prepping low country boil from the old family recipe for Mother’s Day tomorrow.

Trying to find out more about a French marque

Right?! The really fine detail in the crosshatching? That blew my mind. I checked pipedia but not the other link, but I’m going to now.

Trying to find out more about a French marque

I didn’t mean to imply they were the same shape, but rather the same finish. I haven’t seen a Cumberland stem like before that so it stuck out

Trying to find out more about a French marque

I have this estate pipe with an identical cumberland stem to a dunhill made in 1938 that Jiminks posted. The marque says “COLUMBIA/Made in France” and has some really fine crosshatching surrounding “Columbia” in an oval. I haven’t seen another stamp even remotely like it. Anyone know anything...
