UK Tobacconists That Will Ship to Scandinavia?

I've family in the great frozen north I'll be visiting on our annual trip. All of the UK tobacconists I've seen no longer ship to the US, but I'd like to know if anyone is aware of any that will ship tobacco to other EU countries? Or any European tobacconists that will ship within or to the EU...

What Does “Maxima” in Ser Jacopo Mean?

I’m pretty sure it’s in reference to size. The more maximas, the larger the pipe. I saw an 8 maximas pipe at a local shop. It made Peterson house pipes look like one hitters.

Do You Dedicate Pipes To Only One Blend?

In principal it seems like a great idea, but I like Jameson so I screw up the dedicated pipes pretty quick. I've only managed to dedicate pipes to specific genres of tobacco. Lats, Va/burleys, and aros. But within the genre, they get a variety of blends.

    Resurrect Dead Tobacco

Nightcap is one of my all time favorites. I had a friend who transitioned from pipes to cigars (opposite of what I did lol). Anyhow, he gave me about 8 oz. of night cap he stored in a ziplock for about 7 years and it was bone dry also, definitely lost some of its punch, but the aroma was still...

Peterson's Saint Patrick Day 2019 Pipes

I ended up getting a 305 but the only stain issue I have is inside the bowl. It's strait up tacky, not in the aesthetic sense, but as a physical property. I tried smoking it, but the coating inside the bowl started to bubble. Anyone had this issue with these pipes or prior versions? I'm not...

You can also check out the Peterson "House Pipes". They are pretty substantial.

    Advice Needed

I'm pretty sure me smoking a pipe has actually saved a few lives. I'm a lot less likely to strangle someone at a family reunion with the calming presence of a lit pipe.

I could be wrong, but I didn't think Peterson hallmarked nickel, so I think your band is actually sterling silver. Heck of a buy!

    A delicious fragrant campfire :)

Briar Cigar in a Cigar Lounge

I don't think briar cigar should be allowed anywhere! ( Just kidding. The only time I've ever been questioned about my pipe at a cigar place was in Tallinn (Estonia) called the Oak Lounge. The nice girl working the register just wanted to know what I was smoking (Sterling Flake). She smelled it...

    Greetings from Texas

Welcome from Houston! I think there is or was a Houston club, but I've not been to it. I have a 2.5yr old that keeps me pretty busy (but I still make time for deer camp :)

    Conniston Cut Plug

I have about 6 oz I bought during a bulk sale. Taking it out of the bag and into a jar is about as brave as I've been able to get with it yet!

Any Good Recommendations For A Nice Knife For Plug And Ropes?

For plugs I like my H. Roselli Puuko. For ropes and cube cutting flakes, I don't think you can beat a pair of Xikar Cigar scissors.

    How BIG is your cellar?

    Schrödinger's cellar!!! I love it!

Anyone else not smoking as much because of the cold?

Admittedly I live in Houston so "cold" here lacks the ferocity visited on our more Northerly friends, but I also spend a good deal of time in Finland and a West Texas deer lease. For me, it's not so much the cold as long as I can be out of the wind. Jameson helps.

    Peterson Irish Flake

I think Sterling is Irish and Wallace Flake is University. At least that's what I heard through the grapevine.

    Peterson Irish Flake

I have a pretty deep stack of irish and university flake. They never let me down.
