Hello,
Greetings from the Great State of Texas. Been a pipe lover since 1983...is that 36 years? Sorry its taken so long to join, but excited about learning and sharing. My favorite pipes (Lee Von Erck, Ascorti, Ben Wade Free Hands). Favorite blends Blend 101 from Briar Shoppe Houston, Sherlock's Choice from Tinder Box, and about anything G.L. Pease puts out. A few things I would like to ask:
- Any pipe clubs in Texas?

- Frog Morton is no longer made (sad). Any recommendations for something similar?

- Is there a Texas Pipe show?

DFW Pipe Club/Lonestar Pipe Club

Nothing will ever replace the Frogs.... Blend for Cary Grant is awesome though.

Yes there is a Texas Pipe Show... October I think.

Welcome from Houston! I think there is or was a Houston club, but I've not been to it. I have a 2.5yr old that keeps me pretty busy (but I still make time for deer camp

Houston... we have a problem. Two, I repeat two pipe smokers have been detected in one city in one state. Their numbers appear to be growing....

There’s a club in Austin and another about an hour North.

Welcome! The Houston Pipe Club still meets on the first Friday of each month at Stogies on Westheimer about 6:00 pm. I try to make it a few times a year, but I live a little over an hour down 59 from there.
