    Tampa Meet Up

My parents have a place in Tampa and I try to get down there a few times a year. Typically, I am in cigar mode while there, but am interested in a pipe spot. Normally, go over to Davidoff or Cathedral. Can’t say I ever seen anyone spoke a pipe at either though?

    Must try G.L. Pease?

I haven’t tried a lot of his blends, maybe a dozen or so and the ones that really jumped out to me in a good way was: Triple Play and Union Square.

    Eltang Basic

The Eltang Basic is a pipe on my radar for some time now and I am thinking about ordering one. I am curious what some of you think of this pipe after a couple years of smoking one? I have searched some older threads and seems there's a lot of positive, but wanted to get some perspective after...

Codger Gold!! C&D Three Friars: Opinions?

I am not sure I have smoked enough of it to qualify, but I will say it's about a 5/10 on my scale. Middle of the road blend and taste for me. I have some jarred and will revisit again soon.

I.P.S.D. Sales - How dysfunctional Were You?

I picked up some miscellaneous tins and dozen or so 2oz bulk blends that I have wanted to try. Also snagged a handful of Czech tools and an IM Corona Pipemaster today.

Mac Baren's Vanilla Roll Cake, Worth a Buy?

Seems like I am missing out! Guess I need to add this to my shopping list as it sounds like something I might enjoy.

    C&D's the Old Ones Series

Popped a tin of four year old Mad Fiddler Flake this weekend. Had a really nice tin note, but unfortunately, that was the best part of it. Flavor seemed to burn off rather quickly and was left with a muted clove taste for the rest of the bowl. Into a jar it went.

    Chicago Pipe Show 2022

I am really looking forward to going to the show. I am fairly new to the pipe scene and only live 15 minutes from Lincolnshire. We used to go to the Marriott bar for happy hour after work and I recall an excellent Honey Beer that was brewed locally on tap.

    Kendal Cream

I have had my eye on a tin of this for awhile at one my B&M’s and finally snagged one last night. What a disappointment! I had high hopes as I have had good luck with a lot of SG and GH. It just was a dud all around. Tin note was muted, tobacco was necrid and the taste was flat. Chalk it up to...

Has Anyone Sent Pipes to Smokingpipes for Credit?

How much effort are you guys putting in to cleaning/preparing your pipes before sending off to SP? Do you feel it will make a big enough difference?
