    Paintball.

I only did paintball once, many years ago with my brothers and their kids. We went up against a local team in Long Island that had their own gear (we had rentals) and did okay. It was a lot of fun, but we were all so bruised afterward.

Can Anyone Identify This Savinelli Pipe Shape?

Pipe shape charts are a great reference tool in many cases, but wouldn’t really be of help in terms of Savinelli’s Linea 76 pipes—this was a special line of six exclusively shaped, “modern” pipes conceived by Achille Savinelli, that were only produced for one year to celebrate the centennial of...

    Show Us Your Cigar Cutters

Throughout the ’90s and beyond, my EDC cutter was a Davidoff Guillotine with self sharpening blades. All of my jeans had the outline of the shape worn into my left back pocket. I still have it, but it’s in storage, probably in a box in my basement, but it looked like this: These days I...

Can Anyone Identify This Savinelli Pipe Shape?

Make sure they have the correct stems. All of the Linea 76 pipes have a clear yellow gold oval shield embedded in the stem. I sometimes see the wrong stem married to the pipes.

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

Oof—after six-and-a-half hours of smoking the behemoth while watching UFC, I have to tap out! Getting a bit of a nic hit and don’t think I can finish what’s left in the chamber.

Can Anyone Identify This Savinelli Pipe Shape?

It might be a Savinelli Linea 76 01 that didn’t make the cut to be part of the Linea 76 line. There were six different shapes in two different finishes available for each.

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

Watching UFC Fight Night, Jared Cannonier vs. Nassourdine Imavov on ESPN. It’s taking place at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky today. Having Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in an Unbranded, Rusticated, Octagonal Paneled Magnum. This 10" behemoth sports a 1.125" wide chamber. It doesn’t...

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

It’s been several months since I’ve smoked this combo and thought I’d start the day off off the @JimInks way. Going to have Edward G. Robinson’s Pipe Blend (2021) in an EA Carey English Gentleman No. 345 The Natural Prima Magic Inch (with an obvious nod to Jim and his buddy, Basil Meadows). It’s...

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

That’s a thick layer of cake in the giant pipe that the glass and Ashton are sitting on. I’m curious to see the reamer you would use.

    "Shag Pipes"

This sounds interesting. Any pics? I have a briar pipe (or two) that has a separate bowl that sits atop the shank. I will try to take a pic later and post.

Cover Songs That Kick The Original

This is an odd situation—Elvis wrote the song, but Dave recorded and released it first; is Elvis’s version the cover?

Cover Songs That Kick The Original

I don’t know about kicking the original—I love all of these versions—the covers are fun reinventions that seem wholly original. Here’s Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me” Original Studio Version: Dwight Yoakum’s cover of “I Want You to Want Me”: The Holmes Brothers cover of “I Want You...

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

Having Cult Blood Red Moon in my dedicated cherry tobacco pipe, a Half Skull Figural by Oguz Simsek, while attending a Weird Tales Presents production meeting on Zoom.

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

Going to have Vincent Manil Tabac de la Semois La Volute XXL Cut in what looks like an unstamped Butz-Choquin Acorn—I’m not sure if this is a knockoff, or a pre-production model of the reissue; this has a spigot mount with a wooden stem instead of albatross bone, and a mouthpiece that appears to...

    My newest piece

I thought the same thing—there’s definitely an AI vibe going on.

Was I the First Adopter of Electric Vehicles on this Forum?

Jay, I had an awesome pedal car, but nothing so fancy with a car battery. The best I could claim that ran on juice would be electric slot cars in the ’60s, but nothing I could sit in.

Recall - Coming to a Computer Near You (Maybe)

This sounds like it has the potential to be a nightmare on many levels. Privacy, security, you name it. I can imagine a host of scandals resulting in subpoenas of these snapshots and news stories galore.

80+ Tobacco Sampler; Help Develop My Palette

Fun idea, but, you may need to do more research and further separate the blends into more specific groups—as @shanez mentioned, your Aromatic category is very broad, perhaps, too broad. Gentleman Caller has Deer Tongue as a component, which will have vanilla notes, but not be vanilla. You also...
