Fribourg & Treyer Cut Blended Plug

I've got a few of these sitting about. This makes me want to crack one. I have too much open at the moment though.

    Zippo pipe lighters

I have a question for those who use a zippo pipe insert. I tried to use it tonight and it worked well. I do like it actually. But one thing that is different from other flame sources I've used is that it doesn't seem to char the top. The flame seems to get drawn down into the bowl far more...

    pouch humidifiers

Thanks, everyone. Helpful answers, especialy SBC. I'll try your method first, since I think it needs quite a bit of moisture and is a significant amount of tobacco.

    pouch humidifiers

So I have some dry tobacco (Star of the east) in a jar. Can I just drop a pouch humidifier (one of the cheap metal cased ones) in there? Is it ok to have the moisture source touch the tobacco? Maybe it's a dumb question, but for some reason I think it will be problematic.

    Show Us Your Sasieni Pipes

HI everyone, I am wondering if anyone can help me with dating my sasieni. It's a patent Danzey. From the info I find on Pipedia, it seems to have nomenclature that crosses over two periods. Here is what I see: Sasieni (no fish, but unclear below Sasieni) FOUR DOT LONDON MADE Pat No...

    Airport Security

Thanks, everyone. I am not so much worried about the amounts or customs upon entry. They will bring me an amount that is allowed. I was mostly worried about the x-ray not being able to tell what the tin was and wanting it opened. I'll be searching for jars if that is the case.

    Airport Security

Hi all, I have a quick question for those who have flown with tobacco. I have a friend bringing me some tobacco from the US and they will not be checking their bag. Airport security isn't in the habit of opening tins or anything like that, are they? This should be fine, right?

Canadians: Where Do You Get Your Pipe Cleaners?

I've been lucky I guess. I keep getting free packs with my orders. Thanks vendors!

    Cutting Coins

I am wondering if anyone has cut up coins so that they are like thick ribbons. I worry that the ribbons would fall apart and I'd be left with tiny scraps. But I was thinking of doing it because I think that it would maintain the layering that the coin has, instead of rubbing it out and...

    Latakia Rolls

Ya, I've seen it. That's why I was asking, trying to decide to stock up now or wait around for the next time. I don't smoke a ton of it, but I do like it quite a lot.

    Latakia Rolls

It looks like it is called Latakia Blend over there. But it is pricey--25E a tin! That will kill my weak canadian dollars. Good to know though. Thanks!

    Latakia Rolls

Since I am new to pipes, I don't know much about limited runs, etc. What is the likelyhood of Mac Baren doing more runs of Latakia rolls in the future? Do limited editions tend to come and go for them, or do they bring back popular blends? Thanks.

    Brigham Role-Call

I had a problem with my bent algonquin. It would get clogged very easily even after a thorough cleaning. My solution, which many may hate, was to saw 3/4cm off the tenon. It was awfully long anyways to support the 5cm long filters. Now the smoke moves from the chamber directly into the...

    Best European Online Retailers

Thanks for these. The German retailers should work fine. He is in Gipuzkoa. I know that there are two shops in Donosti, but, again, no idea what they might have. And Bilbao should have a shop, but that is a bit of a hike. Cigarillos are so common in Spain, I would hope that there are still...

    Best European Online Retailers

This looks good. Thanks. It is a bit far for him. Does spain have a prohibition of online tobacco sales? There are two stores in the closest city, but no way of telling what they sell (and no way of travelling there).

    Best European Online Retailers

I don't think they sell tobacco over the site, only pipes. I can't find it, at least.

    Best European Online Retailers

My brother lives in Spain and wants to start smoking. Given the lockdown (he can't leave his town) and the lack of shops around him, he would order online. What are the best EU online retailers for tobacco? I have already compiled a list of pipe sites. Thanks.
