    Some Oriental blends that I enjoy are, Cordial and Star of the East Gold and Stratfordshire (not so much oriental heavy, but tasty and balanced) from C&D. From Sutliff BSOSm, BS 759, and 965 matches, TS24 Blended Turkish Ribbon.

    Try Oriental Silk from C&D, the latakia is replaced with perique. Or, Star of the East Gold (also by C&D), it's SOTE with the amounts of Latakia and orientals switched.

    Sutliff Tobacco Co. - CA-100

    I had a bowl this weekend of the CA100, and it's not the same. The match has a musty floralness (or is it a floral mustyness) from the orientals that the CA100 lacks.I'm not too upset because CA100 is pretty tasty and I think it will age well. But I still want the match blend for my cellar.

    Oriental

    Balkans are my favorite. C&D Star of the East Gold, light in latakia. For a little more latakia (and some sweetness) C&D Cordial. I also recommend Match blends for Balkan Sobranie and BS 759. A really good full bodied balkan is Super Balkan from C&D

    Straight Latakia is not as strongly flavored as, say Pirate Cake or Star of the East. I have (and smoked) all three. Straight lat is mellower than either blend.

    Give H&H Larry's Blend and 10 to Midnight a try. I was going to suggest Old Lodge and Pine Grove, Scotty's blends from P&C, but they are no longer available.

    My Mixture 965- a Review

    If you like 965, you should try the match blend, as well as Stratfordshire and Cordial by C&D. I have all four blends and they are all good. Each one is a little bit different, but they are all good, and come in bulk, so you can sample an ounce or two without spending too much.

    Does Voo Doo Queen have any orientals in it? I thought that it was basically Mocha Slices with latakia and perique added, but every place Igo (P&C, SP,TR and Tobaccopipes) say it is only burley, virginia, latakia and perique.

    Try Match 20, It's a match to the Murry's blend. Or just find a good Va/Per and get some blending latakia
