Some flake tobacco may need drying for about 30 minutes before smoking. If you're go to buy Mac Barens, remember to smoke very slow. Unless you like tongue bacon.- dunendain

I love my wife!
I don't have any marriage advice to offer. My wife and I have always been best friends. That has worked for us. We have also have many things in common. I know couples who seem to have nothing in common, but they have great marriages. Go figure.- dunendain

My Dr. Grabow is a "nice" pipe. I love smoking it. Of course, you know that some of these freehand signature pipes can run from 500 to over 2000k. If I win the lottery, I am going to run to Walmart and get one. A candy apple 1972 Cadillac convertable too. -

I love my wife!
My wife has nursed me back from the brink. She had to hook up my IV bottles for 6 months. I had to be real nice. I've been loving here for 22 years now. When it comes to pipes and tobacco gifts I am not subtle. She has surprised me totally a couple of time though.- dunendain

In March when my 8th 39th birthday comes round, I am getting a new pipe. I have set the max at $75. You would think I was buying a new car. I have seen some really nice pipes in that range. By many big name brands. -

McClelland vinegar stench
I don't know why, but I never catch the ketchup odor. I just smell the tobacco. I have found very few McClelland blends I don't like. I have noticed that often the tin aroma differs from the taste.- dunendain

Maybe I am not a wet smoker, even with a heavily cased aromatic I never use more than 2 cleaners. I think my next pipe is going to be a non-filter pipe. I made an offer on a Meerschaum that my local B&M has had on his shelf since '01. -

Hauntedmyst, I have used 9mm charcoal filters since 05, and I can't tell that they absorb any nicotine. I smoke blends with and without the filters. I can't tell the difference in taste or strength. It's one of those things, that you don't know until you try. -

Cigar Warehouse is in our Pipe Store locator. In Sherman Oaks Ca.. Larry makes bags of this stuff, darn cheap. I wasn't crazy about this when I bought it. After 6 months of aging: Wow!- dunendain

Traveling with Pipes & Accessories - Any Tips?
I was stuck in Laguna Beach once, and the town had 1 drug store. They had Captain Black, but no cleaners. I was trying toilet paper, newspaper, q-tips, anything. I almost lost my fragile mind. :)- dunendain
