Sorry about my delay in posting. This one is made of boxwood circa 1860s/1870s. Note the unusual method of securing the case closed, along with the way the foot of the 'cutty' projects out of the hole. The hinges are rather crude and look as if they have been repurposed from something else...- condorlover1
