    Love That Brand

For me if is Pease and C&D. Hands down they make up about 80% of my sizeable cellar. I figure it is not only because of their blending style (Not heavy handed with toppings, not sticky, more on the dry side than others) but also the component tobaccos they select choose before they even blend...

    New Small Batch Coming...

The ad copy from C&D says "Syrian like", for what it's worth. Could be really good.

    New Small Batch Coming...

Im in a similar boat if I'm being honest. I need to go through my cellar and start actually selling some that I will never smoke, or at least cut the stockpile for those in half.

    Vacuum Sealing?

I seal up blends in tins that are like SG tins and those that come from manufacturers in mylar bags (KBV blends). For the mylar I do not open them, but put the sealed bag in another vaccum seal bag Blends in bags have been known to get small holes in them from creases. Most of my stuff is C&D...

Are There Some Blends You Only Smoke In Certain Seasons

Absolutely. I have certain blends I have designated for certain times of year, but of course, as with most things it's very subjective. Most blends I smoke year round and then I add a few to the rotation depending on the season. In the springtime I like to add king cake and sansepolcro. In...

Tabletop (Board/Card/Rpg's) Gamers on this Forum?

After having played in the early 90s while in junior high, I just got back into it this year. I joined as a player with a group in the spring and just started another group as a DM in October. Really love it and I've got an itch to start collecting 2e materials from when I originally played. If...

Must Have Bargain Priced Pipe Tool!

It did belong to a "wealthy tobaconist" after all. You would have to be to afford those. It reminds me of Elaine in Seinfeld working for the J Peterman catalog trying to come up with ad copy for all the random junk they sold.

2021 - Carolina Red Flake Vs Cringle Flake

I could not have said it better myself. I liked the flavor of '20 Cringle Flake but couldnt help but get tongue bite. I wish I could smoke it ? I think it's a palate thing. C&D flakes sit well with me. Absolutely love C&D Red Flake.

I would love a tin of each of the Grand Orientals.
