I’m sure this is posted or pinned somewhere. Is there a list of blends that are in the cutoff side of the date for registration? Regarding the coming tobaccopolypse?

Only a handful have been posted. Definitely all of Mac Baren's HH line, but if you have favorites, look on Tobacco Reviews and check for the earliest reviews. If pre 2007, they should be safe.
Obviously, Dodo blends are gone. White Rhino blend is also gone. But Elephant and Hippo blends are hanging in there.
Just stock up on what YOU like. Tobacco will never be cheaper or more readily available than now
It would appear a blend is likely to disappear from poor demand before a registration problem. There’s a new limited release by someone almost every week, so it’s clearly not the issue it was made out to be for pipes and cigars.

(Though, I never get better deals via Estervals on IPSD) And usually score better deals on individual blends throughout the year.
Speaking of endangered…….how are Estervals orders going for folks since the shipping changes, meaning last several months? Seems much better from what I have heard.
Got mine in about a week (didn’t even get caught up at the Chicago Customs Center, which is probably the WORST in USA. Had a pipe shipped from Germany, it was in Chicago in Two days, then sat for Nine months at the Chicago center. Fortunately I’ve several buddies in the Postal Inspectors so they were able to eventually get it for me)
Can you tell me more about this cut off? I haven’t heard of it until now. How does it work?
Progress on Tobacco Product Application Review and Related Enforcement

It has been mentioned on here that there are multiple avenues for a non-grandfathered blend to pass through the significant equivalence pathway for approval. At this point, there’s a dozen other reasons why I cellar but registration isn’t one of them by now for me.
Here in Canada we’ve had a significant loss of cigar lines because of plain packaging laws. Alec Bradley and Perdomo are no longer selling to Canada, as changing out all the bands and boxes cost too much.
Our Province went after “flavoured tobacco”, but luckily pipe tobacco got away unscathed. (For now - waiting for the next change in government)
Control is now more in form of punitive taxation.
Tobacconists are closing, you can’t smoke in public places in some cities. Not a great business to be in.
I think the global trend is to kill off smoking in all forms. Enjoy what you have while it lasts gentlemen and ladies, it’s only a matter of time before we’ll be sculking around paying premium prices for a small amount of indifferent product.
