Help me pick some bulk blends!

I'll throw in for Elizabethan match, and you can't go wrong with Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake--if it doesn't wow you, just put it in a jar and leave it under your bed. If you're still pipe smoking in a few years ya'll be glad.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

Altinay, CRF 2022 and a St Bernardus Watou Belgian. Happy Friday! Oh wait…

***What Are You Smoking, April 2023?***

Ive gotta say, all you’re pipes have been fantastic. I went through your posts and love em. Making me think through my next briar.

    Carolina Red Flake Is Yucky

I actually picked up a couple from a forum member. CRF 2018, and I think 2020 w/Perique. I noticed the sugar content was lower, at like 10%. It'll be a fun experiment to crack that tin, and compare with the 2022 version. One thing is for sure, I am grabbing as many as I can for 2023 release.

    Rouxgaroux Beverage Parings

Yeah, it's all subjective, but, I find water, and tea to be nice pairings.

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

I’m in the same boat: don’t see myself enjoying briar for at least a few months. Excited to show it off next year! Thanks y’all for the wisdom, fellowship and knowledge.

    Rouxgaroux Is Gone

    Well… then that’s impressive. Thanks.

    Rouxgaroux Is Gone

I grabbed 8oz. I figured I could have grabbed a pound, but, 8oz will take me a while, and I'll open up more for others. Concerning "victorian", it is, to my tastes, lightyears ahead of Dunhill/Peterson version--never had the Murray's version. I do wonder if there is a slight top note added to...

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

So, around the 7th bowl in the ol’ Altinay. Been alternating between Carolina Red Flake, and Luxury Navy Flake. A couple questions… you might be able to tell in the front facing photo that there are a couple scratches that I put into the bowl… is this just the wax, or did I scratch the...

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

I'm actually in the market for a couple cobs right now: something I can take fishing, light weight, and I don't care if I destroy, but still smokes really well, and feels good clenched; also, something I can enjoy looking at, because, cobs are awesome. Who is doing the commission?

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

    Which billiard! Another Altinay?

Stop it: don't tell me it gets better.

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

Does that mean I need a new meer before broken in to maintain this current deliciousness? A meer every couple months?

March Meerschaum Madness - Let the Madness Begin!

So, since we talked cake, and I'm a new Meer man (Mere man?, mereman!?), I wanted to ask: do I need to be worried too much about ghosting? I've only put two blends through it (CRF and Luxury Navy Flake), and those smokes have been like no other (and no, it's not in my head!), so, I'm a little...

    Carolina Red Flake Is Yucky

Ironic considering the post title, but... I just had another bowl of CRF, and I'm in love. It took a few bowls, and a new pipe, but it's incredible--to me. That being said, from fellow CRF lovers, are there any other blends (available) that taste very similar? Or, am I just going to have to...
